They put a bullet through a song, and buried a poem before it could ever cry aloud. Here, upon this black slate, history itself bears witness to the crime of night against an unripe dawn.
This lullaby is not a lament for one lone body, but for humanity nested in the small confines of a single coffin, mourning its own murdered tomorrow. Listen closely: that is not the shriek of iron and gunpowder; it is the dense silence of a flower whose beautiful dreams have been crushed beneath the rubble.
This lament is an indictment against an age where a child’s laughter is sold cheaply.

تک‌آهنگ جدید از دربند
آوازی را به گلوله بستند. و شعری را، پیش از آن‌که به فریاد درآید، به خاک سپردند. اینجا، بر این لوحِ سیاه، تاریخ گواهی می‌دهد به جنایتِ شب بر سپیده‌ی نارس.
این لالایی، مرثیه‌ای‌ست نه برای یک تن، که برای انسانیتی که در کوچکیِ یک تابوت، به سوگِ فردایِ خویش نشسته است. گوش بسپارید: این ضجه‌ی آهن و باروت نیست؛ این سکوتِ سنگینِ گلی‌ست که رویاهای قشنگش را بر آن آوار کردند.
این مرثیه، کیفرخواستی‌ست علیه عصری که در آن، خنده‌ی کودکی به بهای ارزانی فروخته می‌شود.
